Vintage Record No. 4 bench smoothing plane presented in clean authentic condition.

This example has an original Record cutter with a good length remaining. The lettering on the brass depth wheel, lateral lever & frog pattern suggest this plane dates 1952 - 1957, however please do your own research.

Has some usage and oxidisation in places commensurate to its age.

Has been one of my own users, kept clean & unrestored, not to much backlash, overall a pleasure to use, making easy shavings on pine board.
