These are the Terms & Conditions under which you may use our website and services offered by Vintage & Wood Co.

These Terms & Conditions set out your relationship with Vintage & Wood Co and use of the website and the services provided by it. 

By using the website and it’s service, you confirming that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions which may be updated from time to time and as such it is advisable to check this page regularly to take notice of any changes may have been made. This website offers visitors, antique and vintage hand tools as well as other collectable items.

By purchasing from this website you must be at least 18 years of age or of the legal age of the majority in you jurisdiction.

When purchasing an item from this website you agreeing to be bound to these Terms & Conditions. 

Items Offered For Sale

The images of each item offered for sale on the website will be the actual item, no stock images are used. 

Items are photographed in natural light and as such an item’s appearance may vary slightly to the images. 

If an item has a fault, this will, to the best of my ability be described in the items description and accompanied with images to provide further detail.

Unless otherwise stated, items offered for sale by Vintage & Wood Co are used vintage items and as such will often have wear commensurate with their age and original intended use.

If an item has evidence of woodworm it will be have been treated prior to being offered for sale and will be will be mentioned in the description. 

Prices & Payments

Prices are clearly shown against each item, and again at the time of checkout.

Any postage costs that may apply are calculated by weight and will be shown at the final checkout point.

Vintage & Wood Co reserve the right to amend any item or price at any time and where necessary retract the sale and provide a refund for the original amount.

Payment is managed and accepted via PayPal which is encrypted and secure. Additional payment methods may be offered in the future.

Packing & Dispatch

All items are packed carefully to provide protection and security of your order. In practice, this means most items are packed/wrapped in double or triple walled cardboard which is enclosed in a waterproof mailing bag. 

Bubble wrap may be used in limited circumstances and only where necessary to provide additional protection.

Vintage & Wood Co use clean recycled material where ever possible, however for some products new packaging may be used. 

Dispatch time is 1-2 days, however most items are normally dispatched next day.

Postage & Shipping

UK Domestic Postage
Packages under 2kg are shipped using Royal Mail, larger items Royal Mail, Parcel Force or UPS. All services are tracked / Delivery Confirmation.

International Shipping
Packages under 2kg are shipped using Royal Mail, larger items Parcel Force, FedEx or UPS. All services are tracked.

Vintage & Wood Co reserve the right to make changes to the above shipping agents from time to time where circumstance may make it necessary. 

Shipping Costs
Packing & shipping costs are based on size and weight banding from my preferred couriers and shipping companies.

Any excess shipping costs paid will be refunded once items are packed and shipped.

Multiple purchases will be packed, where possible, in the same consignment to achieve the best possible price, which often leads to excess shipping costs being returned.

Customs & Import Taxes
Orders delivered to outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes when they reach their destination. 

The purchaser is responsible for paying any such import duties and taxes, and as such should be make themselves familia with the procedure that applies to their local jurisdiction.

Vintage & Wood Co are not responsible for delays due to customs.
