shipping & packing

Processing Time
Dispatch time is 1-3 days, however most items are normally dispatched next day.

UK Domestic Shipping
Packages under 2kg are shipped using Royal Mail, larger items Royal Mail, Parcel Force or UPS. All services are tracked / Delivery Confirmation.

International Shipping
Packages under 2kg are shipped using Royal Mail, larger items Parcel Force, FedEx or UPS. All services are tracked.

For some destinations, my shipping company request a contact telephone number, used to advise and assist with the last leg of the journey, including this with your order will help speed up dispatch.

Shipping Costs
Packing & shipping costs are based on size and weight banding from my preferred couriers and shipping companies.

Any excess shipping costs paid will be refunded once items are packed and shipped.

Multiple purchases will be packed, where possible, in the same consignment to achieve the best possible price, which often leads to excess shipping costs being returned.

Packaging
Vintage & Wood Co use sustainable recyled packaging wherever possible. Plastics are kept to a minimum, bubble wrap is used only where is necassary to protect your purchase, void fill is generally recyclyed paper based.

Plastic outer mail mags are used, as this is the best way to ensure packages are kept dry.

Customs & Import Taxes
Orders delivered to outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes when they reach their destination. 

The purchaser is responsible for paying any such import duties and taxes, and as such should be make themselves familia with the procedure that applies to their local jurisdiction.
